Born in 1968 as a second son in a Christian family in Ibaraki. My dad was a pastor. I decided to become a pastor when I was 8. When I was a high schooler, my dad passed away, and that led me to become an evangelist. After I graduated from Tokyo Christian College, I went to Okayama for six years to serve. Then, I studied in Kobe Reformed Theological Seminary. From 2020 to 2021, I was pastoring in Tokyo. Since April 2021, I work as a principal of Tokyo Christian University. Currently, I am a pastor in Ichihara Heian Church. What is your expectation for EC23? What is your hobby? What did you want to be when you were little? |

Born in 1964 in Tokyo. My life was little wild in my teens that I would often go out to the cool dance parties, ride around in my motor-bike, and I had a rugged hair-style. And I HATED Christianity the most because my Christian parents got divorced. But I started LOVE Jesus when I came to the States for my work as a chef, and my boss forced me to go to church. I became a believer then. I studied in Tokyo Bible Seminary, and became a pastor when I was 27. I currently am a pastor in Honolulu Christ Church in Hawaii. I have my loving wife and four kids. I love surfing and cooking. I also do Japanese tea ceremony. My books: “Otousan no Chie no Sho,” “Kazoku ni Kami no Katachi wo Torimodosou,” “Reiteki Seijuku wo mezashite,” “Ai ni deatte,” and more. My column 『Amazing LIFE!!』 is on New Life Ministries website. What is your hobby? What did you want to be when you were little? |
