BY AIR and BUS from LAX

If you are coming by plane and using EC Bus.

Please use Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

This section includes information about flight arrival and departure times, as well as departure and arrival times of our buses. Please be sure to read it before purchasing your plane ticket.

EC shuttle bus (for a fee) is only available from LAX.

It may take about 3-4 hours from the airport to the venue.
If you can't make it on departure time for those buses, there will be no other transportation available. (By the way, it was $590 for a one-way Uber.) If you cannot arrange your own transportation, we strongly recommend that you arrive (or depart) on a flight that will be in plenty of time for the bus departure and use the transportation provided by EC, even if you have to wait at the airport for a long time.

You will find schedules for buses below. You can reserve a seat when you register for the conference.

Meeting point at the airport

Regardless of which airline you are flying in at LAX, there is only ONE meeting point.

We will gather in the arrival level lobby of the Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport. The area is currently under construction. We will post a video and instruction of where exactly our meeting point will be. If you do not know or can figure out where the meeting place is, please contact the EC office or the contact phone number (sent to those who have applied for transportation) on the day of the arrival. A representative will be waiting for you at the meeting point and will take you to the bus.

(Note: Those who arrive at Terminals 1, 2, 5, 6, and 7 may take advantage of the free shuttle service within the airport. From there, take the "A" shuttle bus to the Tom Bradley International Terminal. If you are arriving at Terminal 3, exit baggage claim and turn right; if you are arriving at Terminal 4, exit baggage claim and turn left and walk to the Tom Bradley International Terminal. For more information, please refer to the airport map.

By Car to PCCC

(Taken From Homepage of PCCC)

Palomar is very isolated and there are NO gasoline stations nearby. Make sure to fill up before you drive up the mountain. If you are coming through Escondido, the last place to buy gas is in Rincon. If you are coming from the North, the last place will be in Pala.

If you are using a GPS to find us, make sure you DO NOT take Nate Harrison Grade. State Road/S6 is the safest route to PCCC:

  • From the I-15, take highway 76 East to the S-6 (South Grade).
  • Take the S-6 North for 7 miles to where it intersects with the S-7 and turn left, then left again onto State Park Road.
  • Head west approximately 3 miles. You will then enter Palomar Mountain State Park where the posted speed is 15 mph.
  • Follow the signs for “Christian Conference Center.”

Be mindful of the posted speed and stop sign at the entry station. Be cautious of any park visitors walking along the road and, of course, any wildlife that may cross the roadway at any given time.

Please note that the conference center guests are NOT required to pay the entrance fee to drive through the park. However, you are required to pay day use parking fees when utilizing the parks facilities (i.e. Doane Pond, Silvercrest Picnic Area, etc.).

Conference Center guests are also not allowed to post any directional or event signage in the park.
